Print and Fulfillment Vendor Consolidation RFP


Business problem  

Large No Load Mutual fund organization wanted to deepen the relationship between marketing and vendor base while decreasing costs and improving efficiencies. In scope was Commercial Print, Financial Print and Fulfillment.

 

Our Solution

  • Created an RFP that allowed vendors to self-select which parts of the RFP they would bid on. 
  • Implemented Just In Time II process into the RFP, allowing for reduction in internal staff and vendor expense by establishing a vendor seat within the organization. 

results  

  • Reduced vendor base from 15 to 3
  • Reduced $51 MM run rate by $14 MM
  • Reduced headcount from 28 to 12, freeing up resources for additional marketing strategy / services work
